Kristie Bonney - Founder

With over 20 years of hands-on, full-charge bookkeeping experience, I founded Northbloom Bookkeeping to provide businesses with accurate, dependable financial management.

I was born and raised in Connecticut and relocated to Florida in 1999. Since then, I’ve built my career supporting companies across a variety of industries with accurate, dependable financial management. I am a Certified Intuit QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, with systems built around efficient, cloud-based accounting practices.

My background includes work within the insurance sector, corporate accounting environments, transportation and logistics operations, product distribution, and trade-based service businesses. I’ve managed financial operations for organizations handling everything from high-volume transaction processing to vendor management and complex operational workflows.

As a full-charge bookkeeper, I oversee the complete accounting cycle — including general ledger management, bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, month-end and year-end close procedures, and financial reporting preparation.

Having worked in both structured corporate environments and fast-paced small businesses, I understand how financial systems need to function in real life — not just in theory. Clean books are not optional; they are the foundation for confident decision-making and long-term stability.
